The bride wore a classic ivory gown with a veil, a single jeweled hair piece catching the light on one side. The most memorable presence of the day, by every guest's account, was the couple's young child, dressed for the occasion and moving through the celebration with the kind of unselfconscious joy that ends up in half the photographs whether you plan for it or not. Dinner was a traditional seated affair, followed by dancing that carried the night, and the couple opened the party with their first dance after the cake was cut.
