WHY ME?
A personal note from a fellow mother to another
I’ve been photographing stories of love and connection since 2018. With a background in art history and a deep fascination with the emotional power of photography, I approach each session as both an artist and a storyteller. But more important than that: I also come to this work as a mother.
Becoming a mom to my daughter has transformed how I see and feel everything I photograph. I know, from the inside out, how fleeting the early days are. How your baby’s hand will only fit in yours like that for a little while. How the shape of your body during pregnancy may feel unfamiliar, but is deeply, powerfully beautiful. I know the bond between a mother and child is beyond words, and I do everything I can to preserve it with honesty, tenderness, and care.
I work gently, especially with newborns and young children, and I understand how to adapt sessions to your energy, your comfort, and your pace, especially if you’re pregnant or recovering postpartum. Whether you're breastfeeding, chasing toddlers, or taking a moment to rest, your session will never feel rushed or rigid. I create space for real moments to unfold naturally.
I take on a limited number of sessions each year to give every family the attention they deserve. Every image you receive has been edited by me, by hand, one at a time, with love and intention. Because your story deserves more than a quick snapshot. It deserves to be remembered as art.

Time goes by so fast. Our children grow even faster. Unfortunately, some of our family members may not be there one day.
I still get emotional when I see some of the pictures I took from a couple of families whose elders passed shortly after, and how they told me afterwards that seeing the pictures I took for them was "like a balm for their hearts". When my daughter was born, I did not feel like having a photoshoot already for many reasons new mums may understand. I took pictures and recorded videos with my phone, every day, all the time, thinking "at least we got that". One day, my iPhone suddenly died. All the pictures of my newborn, all the precious videos from her first days, gone. It totally felt like losing the memories of those first days with her, and I even feel guilty although it was not my fault. I totally regret not booking a photoshoot for those days, to keep these memories in a polished, beautiful way, forever. To revisit those first cuddles, her lovely face, her first gestures and her tiny hands and feet. That's what I want to offer you as a maternity and family photographer. I cannot recommend enough to invest in a photoshoot for these tender moments, to treasure what you are living right now, and your loved ones, the way they are, at this certain moment.

How it works
1. Inquiry – Reach out via my contact form or email with your ideal timeframe and location. When confirmed, I will send you a contract and an invoice to pay the deposit, and the date will be booked.
2. Planning – I’ll help you choose a location and share styling guidance.
3. Session Day – We’ll keep things calm and fun: no pressure, no need to know about posing, just presence, just you comfortably being yourselves.
4. Delivery – Your pictures are delivered in high quality through a beautiful online gallery, ready to download, print, and treasure!
